The "Willow & Stone" Story

For the first 11 years of my career, I carved my way up the corporate ladder which took me from India to Singapore to Sydney where I settled with my partner permanently in 2022. I always had a passion for interior design and after doing up my own home in multiple cities across different countries, I decided to follow my passion with a formal education. I graduated with a Diploma in Interior Design from the Interior Design Institute, Australia. 

Willow & Stone Interiors was born out of a time when I was personally going through the journey of a new mum and scouring the internet for ideas and inspiration to design a new nursery. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough resources or help dedicated specifically for children’s living spaces. That’s when I decided to start my own E-design service for parents looking for help in bringing their ideas to life. But it's not only children's spaces that we design. Through our Custom Design Assist service we can help you with room makeovers, home renovations and new home builds as well. 

The willow tree symbolizes grace, fluidity & connection to nature which I try to embody in my design spaces through organic elements, soft textures and flowing designs. Stone, on the other hand, evokes ideas of strength, durability and timelessness and in my designs, I bring that about using natural materials, quality craftsmanship and sophisticated design that ensures that each element is safe and secure for your precious little ones. I enjoy designing in a modern and transitional style that blends effortlessly with classical design elements and evolves with the growing needs of your child.
